Silver Swan Recruitment was launched in 2013 by Philippa Smith. When she started managing HR for a leading luxury ski tour operator, she realised exactly how challenging it was to attract and retain 5* hospitality professionals to work in luxury chalets. At the time, there was no apparent specialised agency in the market, which is why she launched Silver Swan to provide this much-needed support.

Silver Swan soon expanded when chalet owners started requesting help with staffing their villas during the summer seasons. It wasn’t long before requests extended to permanent residences, yachts, and jets worldwide.

We pride ourselves on the personal relationships we build with our clients and candidates alike. This is why we felt our offices in London were simply too isolated for global outreach – which is why we opened branches in Dubai and in the Miami, USA.

We are a specialised domestic staffing agency with a modern twist. While there are still plenty of homes requiring the white-gloved formal butler service, there are many more that are looking for a more dynamic and passionate level of service.

Amidst the typically outdated recruitment industry, we are constantly innovating to stay ahead of the game. We not only launched the Silver Swan Search, which enables candidates to easily view and apply to all our roles, but now also require video presentations for clients to assess applicants more effectively.
